1. Purpose
These terms govern your use of the PackAssist mobile app, published by Willemium Studio. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms.
2. Description of the service
PackAssist generates personalized packing lists from questions about your trip (destination, dates, travelers, activities). It optionally offers list sharing between multiple people through a "household", and a Premium subscription that unlocks additional features.
3. Account and access
No account is required for basic use of the app. Creating a household (sharing with others) requires a valid email address, used only for one-time sign-in codes.
You are responsible for your household's invite code: anyone who has it can join your household and see the lists you share there.
4. User-generated content
The lists, items and names you enter in the app remain your property. We claim no rights over them, and only use them to provide the service (generation, synchronization between household members).
5. Premium subscription
The app is usable for free, with ads and certain limits (number of active lists, luggage weight display, library export/import, sharing with others). An optional Premium subscription removes these limits.
At the time of writing, no real paid subscription is offered yet: this section will be completed (price, duration, cancellation and refund terms compliant with Apple's and Google's rules) before an actual subscription goes on sale.
6. Availability and changes
The app depends on third-party services (shared list hosting, weather forecasts, destination photos, error tracking, advertising) that may be temporarily unavailable. Basic offline use (generating and viewing your private lists) remains possible without a network connection. Features may change; we strive to never lose your existing data during an update.
7. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see the dedicated page). We reserve the right to suspend an account in case of clearly abusive use of the sharing service (e.g. deliberate circumvention of technical limits).
8. Liability
PackAssist provides lists and estimates (weight, weather) for guidance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of airline weight or size limits, which can vary: always check your carrier's rules before traveling.
